R. Quin Denning
Operations Manager
Quin has been self-employed for most of his life starting at age 14 when he contracted his first job. Quin has worked in sales and marketing part-time for over twenty years, during which time he worked as Assistant Sales Manager for a small used car dealership and Assistant Sales Manager for a barter exchange.
Quin has owned a hotel, where he gained hands-on management experience. In 1993, Quin started a part-time consulting business, writing business plans and helping new companies with their start-up and development.
Quin has managed a construction company for over 25 years. For ten years, Quin has been a top rated remodeling contractor on Angies List for Southern Utah. His construction company has built various commercial and residential projects. He has designed and built homes, buildings, bridges, roads, concrete structures, and a variety of other construction projects, including passive solar energy-efficient projects.
Quin is part owner of several other businesses, including a land development company. He has bought and sold real estate for many years, and he started and served for two years as President of a real estate brokerage.
When not working, Quin has served the community in various ways, including various positions at his church. He has become very knowledgeable in many areas. His pursuit of knowledge has led him to hands-on experience in many of the skills needed to make a company efficient and profitable.
Shawn Cavalli
Head of Marketing
Shawn worked for seven years in advertising as a national sales leader. During that time, he graduated with an MBA degree, with an emphasis in Marketing. He has owned and operated three start-up businesses, a restaurant in Utah, a family therapy business in Colorado, and a marketing agency.
Shawn spent five years as a Vice President of Marketing and Sales for a technology and manufacturing company in Colorado. Relocating back to Utah in 2021, he helped, through his marketing agency, a fulfillment company, a multi-state Home Medical Equipment company and a multi-billion-dollar SaaS company, where he significantly grew and promoted each company’s performance. The incredible need for families and businesses to protect their persons, property and peace-of-mind in today’s world has led him to lead Armitek’s marketing since 2023.
When he’s not working, Shawn can be found spending time with family, which includes his wife, six children (three of whom are adopted), serving his community as president of a Sunday School organization at his church and as a music teacher of guitar, bass guitar, piano and voice at the Lehi School of Music. Shawn loves watching sports, biking, skiing, camping, and writing, producing, and recording music. Some of his recordings have been included on a compilation cd with the Timpanogos Singer Songwriter Alliance, played on local radio and used in some local advertising. He has performed his music for thousands of people and several city’s Arts in the Park events and at some other local venues. He has judged other musicians and musical groups at a local fair in Utah.
James Lytle
Manufacturing Manager
James has a background in manufacturing, sales, construction, and management. He grew up working in a manufacturing facility for an uncle’s business and is very familiar with the production and business environment. James started working for a sister company to Armitek in 2020 as a team lead for one of the manufacturing lines, and worked up the chain over the next few years. Today, James is the manager of our glass manufacturing department.
James is a lover of music, sports, the great outdoors, and his beautiful wife and soon to be son. He enjoys composing and playing music on the piano, guitar, and vocals. He likes a competitive game of soccer, pickleball, and racquetball, and enjoys spending time in the gym. On the weekends, he’s either barbecuing in the backyard with his wife and son, or in the mountains together camping, hiking or fishing. He believes in working hard, playing hard, and creating memories with loved ones.
John Long
Installation Manager
John was born in Southern California, but moved to Utah at a young age. He went to school for robotics engineering and worked at a window factory manufacturing and installing windows. Later, John began working for his aunt, helping her remodel her house. At that time, his aunt was directing a play, and John soon began dating one of the cast members. She learned he was looking for work, and told him her daddy owned a company and he could probably work for him. John was introduced to Dean, the founder of Armitek, and was hired almost on the spot due to his window manufacturing experience.
John enjoys doing research and development at Armitek. Armitek is a budding company and whenever there is a new makeup of ballistic glass it needs to be tested to stop a bullet. He enjoys testing things and making sure things are secure. Armitek has it’s own a shooting range for in-house testing.
When he’s not working, John can be found at home doing a lot of random things, but mostly playing video games if he has free time. He also has a lot of other creative projects he likes to work on. Using his 3D modeling experience from modeling mechanical parts for Armitek, John is designing a set of armor, which he will have 3D printed. John also likes to invent things in his personal time.
Omer Godinet
Facilities Manager
Omer was born in Hawaii, and spent much of his early adult years as a drummer in New York. He and the founder of Armitek have been friends for many years. Before Armitek, they worked together for over seven years at another company making ballistic glass, body armor, and armored transport vans. When Armitek was founded, Omer was working in Denver for a company outfitting armored vans. He agreed to leave his job in Denver to help his friend grow the new company.
When he’s not at Armitek, Omer can often be found serving his community through church organizations, in the food truck he runs with his wife, or working in a basement somewhere. He is a master electrician with experience in plumbing, framing, and other finishing work, so he often takes subcontractor jobs to finish basements. Omer also runs a business installing and repairing home or car audio electronics. He also tries to make time to travel and play his drums.

Careers with Armitek
Do you want to travel! Want to quickly rise the ranks and become a leader. We are looking for self motivated, hard working individuals who want to get paid and have fun working. Our company installs window security film in schools, homes, businesses, government buildings and much more. The security film helps stop intruders and gives a great level of protection to those in the building. Our Security Film installation technicians should be able to professionally and courteously complete installations, and maintain a pleasant but professional attitude.
We are looking for someone who is dependable, hard working, prompt, drama free and takes pride in their work, and is ready to join an ever growing team. There will be travel with a team of professionals to jobs in and out of Utah. There are travel bonuses as well as the ability to increase base pay within weeks, based on your ability to learn and apply techniques.
We are a fast growing company in the security sector and there is room to grow and advance with our company.
We love to give raises to those who deserve them. We have a fast paced wage increase program. As you become efficient in each task we have a raise increase built in. When you become efficient in all and show leadership you can quickly become a lead and even get paid more.
